REFRAXA ("the app") is a camera and photo-editing app published by Young Folks Consulting ("we," "us"). These terms describe what you can expect from the app and what we ask of you in return. By downloading or using REFRAXA, you agree to them.
REFRAXA is distributed exclusively through Apple's App Store, and your licence to use it is governed by Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement (the "EULA"). These terms supplement the EULA with details specific to REFRAXA; they do not replace it. Where the two genuinely conflict, the EULA governs.
In short: you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use REFRAXA on Apple devices you own or control. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent the app's purchase or export limits.
REFRAXA is free to download and use. The free tier includes 5 photo or video exports per week, and each free export carries a small REFRAXA watermark. The allowance resets at the start of each calendar week (local Sunday at midnight) — it is not a rolling window, and unused exports do not carry over.
REFRAXA Pro is a one-time purchase of $9.99 (USD; local pricing may vary) that permanently unlocks unlimited exports with no watermark. It is a non-consumable purchase — not a subscription. There is no recurring charge, no trial that converts to a payment, and nothing to cancel.
Pro is tied to the Apple ID that purchased it and can be restored on your other devices using "Restore Purchases" on the upgrade screen.
All purchases are processed by Apple, which is the merchant of record. We never see or store your payment details. Refunds are handled entirely by Apple under its own policies — we cannot issue, approve, or deny one. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong with the app itself, we would still like to hear about it: please get in touch.
You keep all rights to the photos and videos you create with REFRAXA. We claim no ownership of, and no licence to, anything you shoot, import, edit, or export. The app has no server to send your media to — all processing happens on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the right to use any media you import into the app, and for how you use what you create — including any images of other people.
Please don't use REFRAXA to create or distribute material that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, or that harasses or depicts another person without the consent you need. Because the app runs entirely on your device and has no accounts or hosted content, we have no ability to review or moderate what anyone makes with it — which makes this genuinely your responsibility rather than ours.
REFRAXA is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, or remove features over time, and support for older versions of iOS may end as the app evolves. We may also change the terms of the free tier or the price of Pro for future purchasers — but a Pro unlock you have already bought stays unlocked.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, REFRAXA is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it — including lost photos or videos. Please keep your own backups of anything that matters to you; exports you save go to your device's Photos library, which is outside our control.
Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country that cannot legally be waived. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
How REFRAXA handles data is covered separately and in detail in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
If these terms change, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use REFRAXA after a change means you accept it.
